Dave has been working in metal since 1993 and originally trained at Hereford College. After working for other blacksmiths in the UK and Poland, Dave took over the forge at Burcot in North Worcestershire where he ran a successful business for 9 years building up a reputation for quality craftsmanship.

Dave continues to offer high quality, hand forged items on the Isle of Lewis to both locals and visitors.

As the years have passed, and the croft has taken more of his time, Dave's forge has become more of a hobby business. He now enjoys making smaller, hand crafted items such as paper knives, candle holders, pokers and coat racks.
